Bio
With the release of his second CD, "The Wonderful World of Mandrew," Twin Cities musician Mike Andrew continues his slightly off-kilter, power-poppy journey. "The Wonderful World of Mandrew" is filtered through the sounds of the Beatles, Beach Boys and the Zombies, mixed with the lyrical and musical stylings of Elvis (Costello), The Shins, and Buzzcocks, with a shot of 60s guitar-driven garage-pop, and a dusting of alt-country. It brings a bit more of a focused edge stylistically than his first release, with more instrumental depth and production expertise.
